Dress: similar here, here and here, Shoes: Qupid: Hat: Windsor, Purse: Juicy Couture, Ring: Forever 21

If I am being totally honest here I have no idea where I bought this dress or when I bought it. I THINK I bought it around middle school or maybe early high school. What I love about this dress is its ode to a Puebla style dress. I love the eyelet and embroidered detailing that runs along the hemline, sleeves and neckline. My family is from Mexico so I love anything that play a little tribute to my culture. I paired the dress with some wedges in a neutral color because I wanted to the details of the dress to really stand out here. Wearing my hat and sunnies was the perfect touch for such a sunny day and it really gave this outfit a vacation style look.

Crop Top and Skirt: Target, Sandals: Wet Seal, Hat: Windsor, Bracelet: Kate Spade: Sunnies: Nordstrom BP.

As you already know, I have a mild, I mean major obsession with polka dots so it was only a matter of time till I created an entire look using some of my many polka dot pieces. Instead of wearing a skirt with the same black and white polka dot print as my crop top, I went for a more subtle approach and wore this skirt that has a polka dot pattern in a reduced size and color palette.

I recently bought this hat from Windsor and I am so happy with it! I am pretty picky when it comes to brim size and this seems to be the perfect match. I wore my favorite sunnies and some comfortable black sandals. I then topped it off with… yup, a polka dot bracelet. I thought, hey one more thing can’t hurt!

Currently Craving: Blush and Tan

Blush2

Lip gloss. Crop Top. Necklace. Bikini. Purse. Shoes. Hat

I am totally obsessed with all things blush and all things tan-colored. I mean I’m really obsessed with the color pink in general. But something about blush is just so soft and elegant. To me, blush is in between a pale pink and a bright pink. I really want to incorporate more blush tones in my wardrobe for spring and summer. Out of all my fave blush items, I must say that the bikini is one that I’ve been wanting for a while. I follow  this brand on instagram and their bathing suits look awesome! And all the items on the tan side are things that I hope to acquire soon. It’s really important to have a purse or two for spring and summer that will go with any outfit. Since I use my Juicy tote like all the time I am looking to purchase another go-to purse. I particularly like a simple brown leather option.

Would love to know if you have any items that you are currently craving?

Junior

Hat: Target, Purse: H&M, Shirt and Pants: Forever 21, Necklace: Juicy Couture, Bracelets: Juicy Couture and Charlotte Russe

Today is my first official day as a junior in college. The past two years have just flown by. It’s crazy to think that in the same amount of time I will be graduating. This may sound a bit cheesy, but going to college was a dream of mine since I was a little girl. So to be in my third year is truly a blessing and I thank my parents for giving me this opportunity. I am kinda a nerd at heart and like the beginning of the school year. Walking into Staples and seeing all the new notebooks and pens is nearly as joyful as walking into Forever 21. Yes, I just compared schools supplies and clothes.

On another note, I wore this outfit to celebrate my dad’s birthday. I thought I would give this hat another go before summer ends. How perfect does that coral strip on the hat match the coral strip on the bottom of this blouse? Gosh, don’t you just love it when that happens?

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Pop of Coral

Hat: Target, Dress: TJMaxx, Sandals: Target, Watch: Gifted, Nail Polish: Forever 21 in Purple

I consider myself two things: a scarf person and a hat person. During the winter you will catch me with a scarf almost every single day, and the same goes for hats in the summer. Not only do they protect the sun from my face but they are a great way to make a simple outfit put together. This dress from TjMaxx is comfortable and simple, but adds the perfect canvas for my Target hat that adds of a pop of color. Coral has definitely been my favorite color this season. What about you?
