Crop Top and Skirt: Target, Sandals: Wet Seal, Hat: Windsor, Bracelet: Kate Spade: Sunnies: Nordstrom BP.

As you already know, I have a mild, I mean major obsession with polka dots so it was only a matter of time till I created an entire look using some of my many polka dot pieces. Instead of wearing a skirt with the same black and white polka dot print as my crop top, I went for a more subtle approach and wore this skirt that has a polka dot pattern in a reduced size and color palette.

I recently bought this hat from Windsor and I am so happy with it! I am pretty picky when it comes to brim size and this seems to be the perfect match. I wore my favorite sunnies and some comfortable black sandals. I then topped it off with… yup, a polka dot bracelet. I thought, hey one more thing can’t hurt!

Running Errands in 100 Degree Weather…

Looks like this

Dress: Local Boutique, Bag: Steve Madden, Sandals: BCBGeneration, Sunglasses: Juicy Couture, Nail Polish: “I need a refresh-mint” by wet n wild megablast

It has been so incredibly hot in southern Cali the past two weeks. This why my blog posts have been scarce lately. Unfortunately, I try to spend most of my time inside, with the AC on or when I go out I’m just wearing shorts and tank top. This does not make for a cute outfit post. So the heat is at total fault here! However, yesterday my boyfriend and I went shopping for bedroom decorations for his new bedroom. This meant I had to find something light and comfortable to wear as we got in and out of the car. And of course, my hair was in a bun. I can’t even bear the thought of letting my hair down in this suffocating weather. Overall it was a successful day of shopping. And I can’t wait to share the before and after pictures of his new bedroom. (We are designing it together and it has been such a fun process!)

A Casual Weekend

Dress: Edge via TJMaxx, Sunnies: Local Boutique, Sandals: Target, Ring: Gift from my Boyfriend

After a week of really weird weather in Southern Cali, I was so grateful for this weekend sunshine. This dress was great for running around doing errands, taking my baby Rocky for a walk, and going out to eat with the family at a new local hot spot. I decided to wear my brown, braided sandals to compliment the belt on the dress. I also did a fun twist to the belt, as opposed to just tucking it in. I kept the jewelry at a minimal and wore my hair in a high, messy pony. I felt that this would coincide with the casual, yet stylish look I was going for. Rocky gave me a kiss as approval, and his opinion is all that matters.
