If I am being totally honest here I have no idea where I bought this dress or when I bought it. I THINK I bought it around middle school or maybe early high school. What I love about this dress is its ode to a Puebla style dress. I love the eyelet and embroidered detailing that runs along the hemline, sleeves and neckline. My family is from Mexico so I love anything that play a little tribute to my culture. I paired the dress with some wedges in a neutral color because I wanted to the details of the dress to really stand out here. Wearing my hat and sunnies was the perfect touch for such a sunny day and it really gave this outfit a vacation style look.

Polka-dots and Stripes

Polka-dots and stripes are hands down my favorite patterns. So when my mom saw this sweater she knew it had my name all over it. Since its shorter in length is makes for a great layering piece. Chambray is my go-to when layering sweaters with a bold print. Since the weather has been warming up, I decided to add a strong pop of color. I chose to wear a boot because I felt it pulled from the black print to tie the outfit together. I have also been stacking a lot of gold bracelets together above my watch for a more casual feel. And how cute is Rocky?! He clearly enjoyed being on the blog so he decided to photo bomb my pictures.
