Tank: Old Navy (similar), Bralette: Target, Pants: Forever 21 (similar here and here), Purse: Jessica Simpson

There are obvious items that every girl should have in her wardrobe such as a great pair of jeans, a chambray shirt, a blazer, etc. However one item that I have had for a while and I have found to be very versatile have been these brown cargo pants from Forever 21 that I bought a few years ago. I have been able to dress them up and down and they are really, really comfortable. When I hear the word cargo I tend to think of baggy boy shorts, but I love the skinny fit of these which allow me to cuff them at the ankle for a more casual feel. Since the color is a little dull I decided to wear a bright pink bralette underneath a loose white tank top. My passion ice tea was also helpful in adding a bit of color to this outfit.

HAIR NEWS: Did you notice my hair is shorter? I finally, after two years, got a hair cut. And that’s not all. I ALSO got my hair straightened again. Two years ago I had my hair straightened which I wrote about here. After many mornings stressing about my curly, tangled, frizzy hair I knew it was time to make my life a whole easier and get my hair done again. I use the Japanese method as opposed to the Brazilian and I absolutely love it!

A Bold Move

Tank: Old Navy, Pants: Target, Sandals: BCBGeneration, Purse: Steven by Steve Madden, Ring: Forever 21, Sunnies: Local Boutique

I have been wanting red pants for about a year now, yet it wasn’t until recently that I made the bold move to actually purchase them. This pair is really comfortable and I couldn’t be more thrilled with my purchase! Since the red was so prominent I decided to style them with white and gold. There is a pop of gold in my sandals, ring, watch, and sunnies. I love this oversized Steve Madden purse. Perfect for holding all my belongings while going into work today. Next bold move: MINT jeans!

Seeing Blue

Tank: Target, Skirt: Hollister: Shoes: Franco Sarto via TjMaxx, Purse: Old Navy, Bracelets and Watch: Gifts

I knew I wanted to wear a skirt and tank top when I woke up too such a hot day. This skirt is one of my favorite pieces because I can style it many ways. Today I was channeling blue tones through my tank top and my purse. I love this purse from Old Navy because of the fun pattern and great colors! I was also rocking the ballerina bun from the Beauty Department. I think I pulled it off. Have a great day everyone 🙂
