I have taken a MAJOR hiatus from the blog over the past month! I got a new, full-time job and went to NYC for ten days, so I’ve been pretty busy! I ALSO have a lot of exciting changes coming to the site, so stay tuned over the next few months. I will try and post as often as I can!

As for this post, I documented what I wore everyday this week. Like I have mentioned a few times before, this blog is to show you how I rotate the same pieces in my wardrobe to create new outfits. I feel like with this series, you will really get to see how I do that!

Enjoy!

ps. Since I am revamping the site, please leave me any feedback!

Guys, my whole life has been turned totally upside down. I am MADLY ADDICTED to Gossip Girl right now. I know I am a few years too late, but I have never been one to watch too much TV. I always knew that GG was a show known for its fashion but school and my social life always kept me busy. But now, thanks to Netflix, I spend all my free time watching it and I must say that I am so inspired by Blair Waldorf’s style. She is the epitome of class, sophistication and elegance (minus her scheming). Call this a phase, but I plan on channeling my inner Blair a little more through my wardrobe. By layering this tweed blazer over a delicate white dress paired with a snake embossed heel I feel like I am getting there!

PS. Chuck Bass is my life right now… sigh…

I’m a College Grad!

DSC_1444OH MY GOSH! I graduated last Friday. That’s right, I am finally a college graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a minor in Spanish. I have dreamt about college since before I could do long division! I really did not get emotional until I sat in my seat and opened my diploma to see my name printed on that parchment paper. After my ceremony I had lunch with my family and friends and I felt so blessed to share that special day with them. After four long years I happy to start the next chapter in my life. I am so excited that I am able to share this with you guys!

I could not have done this without my parents and my brother. This achievement is theirs just as much as it is mine! I love you familia!

Stuck in Colder Weather

DSC_0618cDSC_0604cDSC_0633c

DSC_0620Beanie: Forever 21 (love this alternative), Sweater: Nine West (similar), Boots: Nordstrom BP, Purse: Juicy Couture, Lipstick: Sephora “Seduce”

Let me tell you how I feel about cold weather… I hate it. Being cold to me is painful and does unflattering things to my body such as a red nose and dry, goosebumpy skin. The only bright side is that I can wear really cute scarves and beanies and most importantly leggings. This outfit is kind of my winter uniform with a few variations depending on the day. The most important item is my mom’s beige cardigan which has made itself comfortable in my closet this season (sorry mom). It’s a thick sweater in a neutral color which basically means I can wear it everyday. Since this outfit is clearly black and tan tones I HAD to have a pop of color through accessories. This beanie has been my favorite for years. I’ve always loved the color blush and the embellishments add the perfect touch of sparkle. And I am also totally obsessed with my new lipstick from Sephora. I can’t wait to buy more from this collection.

PS. The title of this post does not only summarize how I feel about my current situation in this dreadful weather but it is also a small line from the song Colder Weather by Zac Brown Band which is on serious repeat as of lately.

My Brother’s Sweater

Sweater: Target (similar)  Pants: Forever 21 (similar), Shoes: BP. Nordstrom, Necklace: Charming Charlie, Clutch: Kate Spade

I have a younger brother who is 18 years old and he is easily my favorite person in the world. We are complete opposites but since we are pretty close in age we have always had a special bond that I am extremely grateful for. This bond is so close that he doesn’t stop me from borrowing his sweaters every now and then. There’s something extra comfy about wearing a boys sweater. This gray one has been my favorite for a while and when my brother grew out of it he finally let me have it. I usually wear it with leggings and ┬átall boots, but this time I wanted to dress it up a bit. I automatically went for my new favorite necklace from Charming Charlie. It takes any outfit to the next level! I wanted the gray to pop so I paired it with my white pants and cuffed them at the bottom to show off my brown ankle boots. This outfit was perfect for a date night!
